Word of welcome from the Principal
Welcome to the website of the École de Commerce et de Gestion – School of Business and Management (ECG)! The year 2025 presents a special year, it is the celebration of our school’s 55th anniversary, which we are proud to commemorate. It is our pleasure to give you an insight into our exciting journey, particularly into what has been developed over the last ten years.
During this last decade, the ECG has evolved into a unique institution in the field of economics, finance and marketing in Luxembourg. We have always aspired to offer our pupils and students a thorough and future-oriented education whether that be in secondary education, general education or BTS training. The maxim I gave the school in 2016 – ‘Living the future today’ – is not just a guiding principle for us, but is rigoursly integrated into our curriculum.
We are continuously developing new sections, most recently in the areas of economics and data literacy. We attach great importance to promoting entrepreneurial skills, which are embedded in all programmes, right up to BTS training. This approach ensures that our pupils and students are impeccably prepared for the challenges of the future.
The uniqueness of the ECG is well established and actively supported by many partners from the business world, the banking and insurance sectors and the industry. This valuable cooperation allows for us to offer an outstanding platform where our pupils and students can develop their full potential and prepare for a successful future.
The continuous development of our school is reflected not only in the development of secondary school programmes – whether it be the programmes in economics, data literacy, finance or marketing in general education or the ‘Section N’ in classical secondary education – but also in the latest expansion of our BTS programmes, which have been enriched with two new courses over the last five years (Legal Assistant and Finance and Financial Products), while three additional programmes are in the planning stage. The ECG is not a static institution, but it is dynamic and actively takes on new challenges to provide our pupils and students with the best possible education.
My heartfelt thanks go to all the professors who have contributed to the further evolution of our school with great commitment over the last few years. Special thanks also go to the many partners who support our programmes and provide us with valuable advice. Last but not least, many thanks to our pupils and students – they are the true ambassadors of our school, and their success reflects the quality of our teaching and the relevance of our programmes.
I invite you to get to know our school better and to be inspired by the diversity and forward-looking vision of the ECG. By browsing our website, you are able to get a first impression and subsequently discover the various aspects of our educational pathways.
Thank you very much for your trust and interest in the École de Commerce et de Gestion – School of Business and Management!
