Word of welcome from the Principal

Joseph Britz

Our school may look back on more than 50 years of experience in the economic sector, and we are proud to be able to pass this on to future generations. At the heart of every great school you find extraordinary members of staff with many different skills. The ECG-School of Business and Management reflects this idea, was awarded the label of sustainable entrepreneurial school and encourages students in the development of their educational project. The key focus of all the activities taking place at our school should therefore be in line with the UN's Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Out of the 17 goals, 6 have been chosen by the school and we try to emphasize the latter through these various activities. Moreover, we have launched a new project involving the planting of 200 trees each of the coming academic years. Every new student is directly involved in the project; of course, all other students, teachers, partners and guest speakers are welcome to participate in the project, too. It is through the life and work at school that both pupils and students should be able to develop the entrepreneurial spirit.

Not only do we develop exciting and interesting entrepreneurial activities; together with our committed partners, we also offer specialised programmes such as for the Enseignement secondaire général, one in Finance and one in Marketing, Media and Communication. Concerning the Enseignement secondaire classique, the organised specialisation in Entrepreneuriat, Finance et Marketing, is called N-Section.

Furthermore, at the level of higher education, we offer 5 different sections Assistant de direction, Assistant juridique, Gestionnaire comptable et fiscal, Gestionnaire en commerce international et marketing and Finance et Produits financiers.

After finishing secondary education at our school, students may continue studying at the level of higher education without having to change schools. The courses are designed in such a way that they prepare students in the best possible ways to meet the challenges they face in life.

The economy needs specialised knowledge and expertise, but also humanity, values and ideals cultivated in our school. Democratic values should not just remain doubtworthy ideals in the lives of these young people on their way to becoming responsible and active citizens. Therefore young people are encouraged to take initiatives, recognise their own strengths, while also working on their weaknesses.

Do not hesitate to contact us or to visit us during our open days, if you would like to find out more about our school and offers. We are looking forward to meeting you.
