BA-bachelor

With the implementation of the ‘Bologna process’, short term studies most commonly have to be classified among the first cycle of higher education qualifications at the level of ‘bachelor’.

The employability studies for BTS graduates carried out in 2013 and in 2016 commissioned by the School of Business and Management (ECG) and an independent institute have shown that graduates of the BTS Accounting and tax management program are increasingly likely to continue their studies with the aim of obtaining a bachelor’s degree.

BTS graduates are eligible to apply to a vast number of universities and university colleges (‘hautes écoles’) as well as the University of Luxembourg where they can pursue their academic careers in order to obtain a bachelor’s degree.

The ECG has established partnerships for their BTS Executive assistant and BTS Business and marketing manager graduates with the following:

  • University College of Namur-Liège-Luxembourg (Hénallux)
  • Helmo University College
  • ICN Business School
  • Coventry University (Metz Campus)

Whereas the BTS Accounting and tax manager diploma grants access to numerous higher education institutions, the ECG has gone a step further and has, in cooperation with the University of Luxembourg, put into place a bachelor’s degree in Accounting and taxation. This degree is issued by the University of Luxembourg in partnership with the Ecole de Commerce et de Gestion – School of Business and Management.
